Your Key Responsibilities :
Personal Care & Daily Living Assistance
- Provide help with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Give medication reminders as directed.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or community activities.
- Observe, record, and report changes in client condition to the supervising nurse.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures consistently.
- Maintain confidentiality and dignity for all clients.
- Deliver care that aligns with our mission : Compassion in Every HeartBEAT.
- Uphold state standards and Wrapped N Love policies at all times.
- 60 hours of classroom instruction
- 16 hours supervised clinical practice
- Employment Type : Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem
- Shifts Available : Mornings, nights, overnights, and short 13 hour visits
- Compensation : Competitive hourly pay based on experience
- Benefits : Full benefits package for eligible employees
Health & Safety Support
Professional Excellence
What You Bring :
Valid New Jersey CHHA Certification required by law to provide hands-on care.
Completion of NJ state-approved training program :
Criminal background check clearance (mandatory for certification).
High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
Strong communication, reliability, and compassion.
Physical ability to safely perform transfers and caregiving duties.
CPR / First Aid Certification (preferred, not required).
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (preferred for client travel).
