Starting in trucking should feel organized, clear, and supportive. This trainee program is built for recent CDL-A graduates who want paid training, real mentorship, and a smooth path to solo driving with predictable home time.

Job Overview

  • Regional dry-van freight
  • Runs centered across central states
  • 4–6 week mentor training program
  • Automatic late-model tractors
  • No-touch freight on all loads
  • Consistent weekly dispatch rhythm
  • Home every two weeks once solo

Pay and Benefits

  • Paid mentor training each week
  • $1,200–$1,400 average weekly pay after training
  • 1,800–2,200 weekly solo miles
  • Direct deposit every week
  • Full insurance package after training
  • Rider program available after training
  • Pet program available after training

    • Home Time and Schedule

  • Home every two weeks for a 34-hour reset
  • Night driving may be part of the schedule depending on customer needs

    • Requirements

  • Minimum age 21
  • 120+ hour accredited CDL-A school completed
  • Clean MVR report
  • Able to pass DOT physical and drug test
  • Stable work history with no major gaps
  • Recent CDL-A grads encouraged to apply
