Job Summary

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for the development of future demand, production, and inventory plans for assigned product categories that drive the Supply Chain Planning processes.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyze sales reports and historical data to forecast product demand.
• Maintain forecasting system in order to develop future forecast.
• Generate constrained weekly production plans.
• Develop and maintain tracking models for schedule attainment, distress, AOP attainment, and other required areas.
• Establish and monitor inventory targets at warehouse locations.
• Adjust forecast for any change of business or promotional activities (features) received from sales.
• Manage and communicate incoming features to supply planners and production facilities.
• Create and maintain the optimum inventory profile to ensure fulfillment of customer requirements considering forecast accuracy, schedule compliance and production smoothing requirements to maximize order fill rate and minimize obsolescence.
• Analyze / Correct issues impacting order fill rate and distressed inventory goals.
• As assigned, create and maintain the optimum master production schedule considering plant capabilities, raw material availability, customer service goals and inventory objectives through the most effective and efficient use of resources.
