Inpatient Behavioral Health Clinical Nurse Educator

POSITION SUMMARY : Join a dedicated team as a Clinical Nurse Educator in Inpatient Behavioral Health, where you will play a crucial role in providing clinical expertise, education, consultation, and leadership to enhance patient care and support staff development. This position comes with a fantastic BONUS ELIGIBLE incentive of $8000 .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provide high-quality, competent direct patient care in your area of expertise.
• Assess and improve the quality of care for specific patient populations.
• Coordinate and implement comprehensive orientation and continuing education programs for Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) nursing staff.
• Collaborate with nurse managers and medical providers to develop annual competencies and monitor staff progress.
• Utilize advanced expertise to identify and intervene in issues affecting patient care.
• Support clinical team efforts, acting as a resource and positive role model for nursing staff.
• Engage in research initiatives to enhance clinical practice and patient care delivery.
