The Imagine Group is recruiting for a Sourcing Manager on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of high-efficiency solar modules in Fort Mill, SC. This organization is committed to reshoring advanced energy production, leveraging over four decades of industry experience to deliver premium products and sustainable supply chains.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that ensure a reliable, cost-effective supply of materials and components to support solar module production. You’ll lead supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management while driving continuous improvement in quality, pricing, and delivery. This position requires strong analytical and relationship-building skills, as you’ll collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to align sourcing initiatives with organizational goals and sustainability standards.

- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support production goals, cost targets, and sustainability objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality materials and components at optimal pricing.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring consistent performance, on-time delivery, and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to align sourcing plans with technical and production requirements.
- Analyze market trends, supply chain risks, and cost drivers to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on supplier performance, cost reduction, and process efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records, contracts, and supplier documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Experience
Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field (MBA or certification such as CPSM a plus).Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within a manufacturing or renewable energy environment.Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship skills with a focus on cost optimization and quality assurance.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
