NOW HIRING- $500.00 DOLLAR HIRING BONUS

$500.00 HIRING BONUS- 250.00 AFTER 90 DAYS 250.00 AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR

Site Director MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 20.50 PER HOUR- Before and After School Program at Matapeake and Centreville Elementary School

At AlphaBEST, we're committed to supporting your professional growth. We provide certification training for Group Leaders and Site Directors. If you don't yet meet the 90-hour certification requirement, don't worry-we'll cover the cost for you to complete it!

  • Location :

Matapeake Elementary School, 651 Romoncoke Rd Stevensville MD and Centreville Elementary School

Hours :

  • AM Shift : 6 : 00 AM - 9 : 00 AM
  • PM Shift : 3 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 PM

    • Pay & Benefits :

  • $20.50 per hour
  • Part-time benefits, including health coverage and paid time off

    • State Licensing Qualifications :

    To qualify, you must meet one of the following criteria :

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 6 credits from an accredited college or university

    • Additionally, you must have one of the following :

  • 6 semester hours, 90 clock hours, or equivalent approved pre-service training, including 45 hours in school-age curriculum and 45 hours in child growth and development
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential from the Council for Professional Recognition
  • Approval as a teacher by MSDE for early childhood education (including Nursery - Grade 3), with at least 6 semester hours in early childhood education
  • MSDE or state certification for early childhood education (including Nursery - Grade 3)

    • Experience Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of experience working directly with children in an approved setting (such as a licensed childcare center, school, or similar environment)
  • OR 1 year as a registered family child care provider
