Overview

CTG is seeking an Application Developer with expertise in Java and web technologies to design, develop, and support enterprise applications. This role involves building web solutions, integrating enterprise systems, and leveraging modern Java frameworks and DevOps practices.

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Duration : 12 months

Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain Java / JEE applications and web-based solutions using frameworks like Ruby or Groovy.

Implement transaction management, data access frameworks, and batch processing.

Apply best practices in dependency injection, inversion of control, aspect-oriented, and functional programming.

Participate in test-driven development and automated testing.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI / CD and application deployment.

Requirements :

Strong Java / JEE development experience and web technologies proficiency.

Experience with Ruby, Groovy, or similar web languages.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.

Knowledge of dependency injection, inversion of control, aspect-oriented programming, and functional programming.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
