Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity is for an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position in Strasburg, VA, serving both elementary and high school students within a public school setting. The role begins January 5, 2026, and is expected to conclude in April 2026, covering a leave of absence.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload primarily consisting of elementary students, along with approximately 10 high school students.
  • Deliver individualized treatment plans and interventions based on students speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and procedures.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations.

Qualifications :

  • Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in a school environment.
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations.

    • Schedule :

  • Full-time contract position, 7.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
  • Approximately 35 hours per week.

    • Location :

  • Strasburg, VA, within public elementary and high school facilities.
