SUMMARY :
Assist warehouse with all shipping and receiving needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Produces shipping manifests, bills of lading, packing lists and invoices, daily shipping list through Infor system and bar code labels.
Organizes outgoing product shipment on pallets. Arranges LTL shipments daily and expedites when needed, by phone or logistics websites.
Enters and sends ASN’s (Advanced Shipping Notices) through EDI (Electronic Data Invoicing) accurately.
Help maintain correct inventory numbers via cycle counting, physically and by data input. Enter new inventory into the Mapics system.
Assist with receiving when needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY :
The job has no supervisory responsibilities.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Computer competency in Windows, word processing, excel, etc. Ability to work independently and efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
Intermediate reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent, or a 2-year degree program.
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization.
