What you get to do every day

• Accurately fulfill and process prescription orders in a high-volume mail-order pharmacy serving patients across 49 states
• Comprehensive review and verification of prescription orders for accuracy and completeness
• Perform clinical utilization reviews and implement quality control measures to ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications
• Provide consultations and assist with medication information questions as requested by patients and providers
• Complete pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians workflow
• Comply with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy the drug enforcement administration and the food and drug administration
• Participate in departmental continuous improvement efforts lead projectsand engage and communicate cross-functionally with other teams to improve our internal processes
• Other duties as assigned

What you bring to the role

• Current unrestricted pharmacist license in New York
• Adaptable flexible and thrive in dynamic fast-paced and high growth environments
• Analytical creative and can leverage data to make thoughtful and informed decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate a passion for the mission of expanding access to healthcare
• Authorized to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

• Manual dexterity arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.
• Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person communication 7-8 hours per day.
• Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
• Ability to sit or stand at a desk for 7-8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift 50-60lbs.
