The primary purpose of the position is to function as a journey-level executive officer who provides full administrative services to one or more complex regulatory boards, commissions and programs. The incumbent may receive guidance and direction on technical matters from a senior-level executive officer.
To qualify, you must meet the following requirements : Legal Authorization to Work Requirement : The State of Hawaii requires that all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, national, or permanent resident of aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States. Education : Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a bachelor's degree. General Experience : Two and one-half (2-1 / 2) years progressively responsible professional work experience which involved gathering, evaluating and analyzing facts and other pertinent information required to resolve problems and / or to determine and recommend appropriate courses of action. Specialized Experience : None. Substitutions Allowed : 1. Possession of a master's degree from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one (1) year of the required General Experience. 2. Excess Specialized Experience may be substituted for the General Experience on a month-for-month basis.
