Account Manager Industrial Equipment Mining

My client is a global leader in sustainable technologies and solutions for the aggregates, mining, and metals refining industries. They provide end-to-end offerings-from plant design and advanced equipment to automation, parts, and lifecycle services. They have operations in over 50 countries and annual revenue exceeding 5 billion, they are recognized for expertise in crushing, screening, grinding, filtration, and flow control systems, serving industries such as mining, oil & gas, and power generation.

Job Description

Manage and grow client accounts within the Power Generation, Pulp & Paper, and Mining sectors. Develop strong relationships by identifying key site contacts and aligning with their decision-making processes. Lead and coordinate all customer-facing activities across internal functions to ensure seamless collaboration. Drive profitable growth through strategic site-level planning and execution. Understand customer operations and investment cycles to position solutions effectively. Own business development at the site level, fostering long-term partnerships. Maintain accurate CRM data, including leads, opportunities, and performance insights. Conduct regular business analysis, define budgets and forecasts, and lead reviews with customers and internal teams. Champion customer satisfaction through surveys, feedback management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of experience managing key accounts in the power generation, pulp & paper, or mining industries. Proven background in Sales, Account Management, and Customer Relationship Management. Experience working within or alongside sales, product management, and service teams. Familiarity with CRM systems and data management. Strong strategic and tactical thinking skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities. Deep understanding of customer business models and service operations. Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
