About the Role

As the Accounting & Tax Manager , you’ll supervise monthly accounting processes, guide tax engagements, and be the go-to person for a portfolio of small business clients. But this isn’t a role buried in back-office chaos or stuck in the traditional tax season grind.

This is a relationship-first, client-facing position —you’ll become a trusted client advisor and leader within a dynamic, growing team.

What You’ll Do

Lead and supervise the monthly accounting and tax process for a portfolio of clients.

Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and strategic planning.

Ensure timely, accurate financials and tax filings while spotting opportunities to add value.

Coach and develop team members—build a bench of rising accounting talent

Collaborate internally to improve workflows and leverage technology for scale

Contribute to an environment where teamwork, fun, and results go hand in hand

What You Bring to the Table

CPA or EA preferred, or equivalent experience with tax and accounting management

Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting, preferably with client-facing experience

Strong grasp of GAAP, tax compliance, and advisory-level client service

Demonstrated ability to lead teams and mentor staff

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms (QBO, Xero, etc.) and workflow systems
