Bioinformatics Developer

A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Developer III to develop cloud-based software for droplet digital PCR platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Provide scientific and technical expertise in bioinformatics within a research and development team

Design and develop scalable bioinformatics software for ddPCR assay design

Support custom assay design needs for internal teams and customers

Required Qualifications

PhD or MS in molecular biology, bioinformatics, or computer science, or a Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience

At least 3 years of experience designing PCR assays for DNA / RNA detection

Proficient in Python programming

Experience with software development using OOP and design patterns

Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
