Assistant / Associate Professor- Construction Management

Job Description Summary The Construction Management (CM) Program at Wentworth Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to start in the Fall of 2024 , with the opportunity to begin even earlier.

Job Requirements :

The responsibilities for this position will include :

• teach undergraduate and graduate courses in a variety of CM areas such as Building Construction, Plan Reading / BIM, Estimating, and Project Management including lectures and labs
• participate in developing new and / or improved curriculum and teaching resources, and use innovative instructional methods; provide reliable, accurate and effective student advising and mentoring
• participate in scholarly / creative activities including, but not limited to, public presentations, conference / journal publications, and pedagogical studies
• perform service activities at the program, school, and university levels; and collaborate with related disciplines
• establish strong relationships with the construction industry and pursue opportunities to collaborate
• engage in professional development opportunities that foster continuous improvement and growth
• support the university’s strategic plan to bolster inclusive excellence, offer a high-value education and transformative student experience, and secure next generation partnership
• be an excellent teacher and mentor with a commitment to diversity and inclusion
