Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a recovery room role requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications with alternating 10 and 12 hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the recovery room (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) of a hospital
  • Alternating weekly 10-hour and 12-hour day shifts starting at 6 : 45 AM
  • No on-call responsibilities required
  • Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to surgical patients in the recovery unit
  • Work as part of a clinical nursing team with support from hospital staff
  • Must be clinically competent as defined by current nursing practice standards

    • Requirements

  • Active NC or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Experience working in PACU or recovery room nursing strongly preferred
