Job Responsibilities

• Execute thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and extensive reviews of medical history
• Support the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging and laboratory data
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to craft and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Offer intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and the delivery of surgical instruments during operations
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-surgical care, including administering medication, managing wound care, and facilitating discharge planning and patient education

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical disciplines is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
