Project Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented project accountant to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. Join our growing construction firm as a project accountant. This hands-on role involves project accounting, ensuring GAAP-compliant books, WIP tracking, budgets, invoicing, reconciliations, AP / AR, fixed assets, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage construction project budgets, cash flow, and closeouts
  • Reconcile Smart Sheet to financial systems (Dynamics 365 preferred)
  • Support monthly closes, audits, and process improvements
  • Collaborate with PM / Dev teams for timely stakeholder reports

Qualifications :

  • 2-5+ years project accounting experience (Construction / Job Cost required)
  • Finance / Accounting degree preferred
  • Excel expert; GAAP knowledge
  • Strong communicator and team player
