Small Engine/Outdoor Power Equipment Tech - Little Canada

Winter is here, and it's a great time to join the team at Tri-State Bobcat! We're a proven leader in the industry for over 40 years, with 5 locations. We are looking to hire a Small Engine/Outdoor Power Equipment Technician with strong mechanical and problem solving skills to service and repair small engines within our line of compact, forestry and grounds equipment. Get paid $25.00 - $34.00 per hour, plus overtime, for your experience and skills! Monday - Friday, 8:30-5:00. Located at our Little Canada location - where employees enjoy coming to work.

Position Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair equipment as needed
• Perform required preventive maintenance
• Communicate job progress to service manager
• Inspect and test equipment when work completed
• Obtain or order parts needed for repairs
• Check work orders for complete and accurate descriptions of work performed and proper parts and labor is accounted for
• Work safely and independently with little supervision
• Maintain company safety standards
• Willing to participate in all training programs, including limited out of state training and keep current on new equipment updates

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a mechanic in small engine repair and service
• Complete set of tools, plus eligible for our Tool Allowance Program!
• Experience with hydraulic/hydrostatic systems and electrical systems and troubleshooting preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Experience operating a Bobcat or similar compact construction equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good time management skills with the ability to complete work as scheduled
• Valid driver's license
