Registered Nurse (RN) | Ambulatory Care Location : Augusta, GA Agency : Cynet Health Pay : $1,871 per week Shift Information : Days - 4 days x 9 hours Contract Duration : 14 Weeks Start Date : 1 / 12 / 2026 About the Position Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Outpatient Surgery Duration : 14 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 9 hours (08 : 00 - 17 : 30) Experience : Minimum 1 year License : Active RN License Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have : - Experience in Outpatient Surgery, PreOp, PostOp, and PACU - Ability to perform IV starts and knowledgeable in conscious sedation, general, and local anesthesia - Familiarity with various surgical specialties including retina surgery, total hip / knees, hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction, ENT, Lap Chole, hernia repairs, and podiatry Description : The position requires a Registered Nurse to work in Outpatient Surgery. The nurse will function in the PreOp, PostOp, and PACU areas. The patient population will range from pediatrics to geriatrics. The expected patient ratio is 1 : 4 with an average daily census of 10-18. The unit consists of 5 operating rooms. Nurses must be competent in starting IVs and familiar with conscious sedation techniques. The unit utilizes Epic and Pyxis for documentation and medication management. The role requires flexibility to stay over based on operational needs. Major holiday availability is expected if assigned during the holiday periods. Compliance with all requirements is necessary to ensure a timely start. A clinical screening will be conducted to determine suitability for the position. Two supervisory references are preferred for application consideration. The position requires no weekends and floating across other divisions is included.
