Regal Staffing Services is hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic position located in the Midlothian, TX area.

Shift : 1st shift Monday- Friday 5am-3 : 30 pm (With some Saturdays)
Pay Rate : $20-$25 based on experience
Responsibilities :
- Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production and utility machines and equipment.
- Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial equipment
- Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to; removes defective parts.
- Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts.
- Performs preventive maintenance on production and maintenance equipment and utilities.
- Install special functional and structural parts in devices.
- Starts devices to test their performance.
- Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metal-working shop tools to make and repair parts.
- Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
- Connects low voltage power supply wires to machines and equipment and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
- Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as low voltage motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken lighting fixtures.
- Replaces blown fuses, reset breakers, and overload relays for lighting and equipment’s.
- Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers to diagnose malfunction.
- Lays out wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
- Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Operates cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on metal stock surfaces.
- Replaces defective parts with new part or repairs or reproduces part from various kinds of metal stock.
- Operates forklifts, scissor-lifts and other equipment necessary to perform tasks.
- Fills up logs for inspection and preventive maintenance of equipment and utilities.
- Fills up work order upon completion of job / task.
- Performs plumbing and piping repairs.
- Reports to Manager or Supervisor status of pending and ongoing jobs.
- Performs other duties as required and / or assigned.
Requirements :
Less than two-year certificate in the mechanical or electrical field from a college or technical school; or a minimum of three years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceCMP (certified plant mechanic) requiredForklift certification requiredAbility to work with mathematical mechanical and / or electrical concepts. Ability to apply such concepts to practical situations.This role involves regular standing, walking, reaching, and bending. Occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 lbs is required.
