Live-In Caregiver for Young Adult Woman with Autism

We are seeking a warm, responsible, and patient live-in caregiver to support a neurodiverse 24-year-old female adult with autism and developmental disabilities in Skokie, Illinois. This is an ideal position for recent graduates in Social Work, ABA, OT, or Psychology looking to gain hands-on experience in a home-based setting.

You will provide daily living support, companionship, routine assistance, and help with communication and independence. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (such as meals, hygiene, and transitions), providing structure around routines, facilitating communication and social engagement, collaborating with family members and external therapists, maintaining a safe home environment, and supporting community outings or appointments.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, a valid driver's license, strong communication skills, and comfort with a live-in caregiving dynamic. A clear background check is required.
