Engineering Lead

A company is looking for an Engineering Lead to oversee a gameplay engineering team and contribute to game systems design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, implement, and maintain game features and systems in Unreal Engine using C++

Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, providing technical guidance and support

Participate in creative processes, including brainstorming and playtests, to shape gameplay direction

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in game engineering with at least one shipped title

2+ years of experience managing or leading engineers in a team environment

Deep experience with C++ and Unreal Engine or other proprietary C++-based game engines

Proficiency with source control and build systems used in game development

Strong collaboration skills and ability to work autonomously within a creative team
