Position Summary
Odyssey Autism is hiring a Licensed Psychologist to join our team. As our in-house diagnostician, you will play a pivotal role in assessing children suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorder. Your responsibilities will include conducting evaluations and interviews with patients and their families, administering assessments to obtain behavioral and developmental data, and synthesizing findings to formulate accurate diagnostic impressions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical interviews with patients and their families to obtain comprehensive developmental history and behavioral observations
- Administer Autism Spectrum diagnostic evaluations (ADOS 2, ASRS, CARS, MCHAT, BASC-3), interpret and analyze data collected
- Create detailed diagnostic reports that document assessment results, diagnostic conclusions, and recommendations for intervention and support
- Stay up to date with current research, diagnostic criteria, and best practices in autism assessment and treatment
- Comply with HIPAA and maintain accurate records of assessments, reports, and correspondence in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Collaborate with Odyssey Autism providers (Clinical Directors, BCBAs, and RBTs) to ensure coordinated care and support for diagnosed individuals
- Perform in-person evaluations exclusively at our Phoenix, Arizona clinic
Requirements
