Mission Technologies a division of HII is seeking highly experienced and motivated Senior to Principal Software Engineers to join our team. The role operates in a hybrid work environment in our Hanover MD location and supports critical national security missions.

The software development team is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Minotaur Mission Processor.

The Minotaur Mission Processor (or Minotaur Mission System / Suite) is a cutting-edge government-owned mission management software suite and system architecture. Its core function is to integrate and fuse multiple sensor and data sourcesincluding radar cameras and communications equipmentto create a single common operating picture (COP) .

The Software Engineer is responsible for designing developing and troubleshooting various elements of the software. You will be critical in the service of protecting our national security.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

Principal Software Engineer (Software Engineer 6) : 20 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 18 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 15 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 24 years relevant experience.

Principal Software Engineer (Software Engineer 5) : 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.

Senior Software Engineer (Software Engineer 4) : 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
