American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with at least 2 years of circulator experience and a valid NC or compact RN license.

Job Details

  • Hospital-based Operating Room with 5 ORs and 2 procedure rooms staffed,
  • Handles general, orthopedic, urology, GYN, podiatry, pediatric dentistry, burn, ENT, pain, and vascular surgical cases,
  • Average caseload of 23 patients per day,
  • Schedule is Monday to Friday, 0630-1500 or 0630-1700,
  • Call required every 8th to 10th weekend and 1 night during the week, 5 out of 10 weeks,
  • Travelers will work 75% of holidays,
  • No floating between departments,
  • Uses Epic EMR,

Job Requirements

  • Active NC or compact RN license,
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification,
  • Minimum of 2 years recent OR circulator nursing experience,
  • Circulator experience in general, orthopedic, urology, GYN, podiatry, pediatric dentistry, burn, ENT, pain, and vascular cases,
  • Epic EMR experience preferred,
  • First-time travelers are not preferred,

    • Additional Information

  • Orientation includes NEO and 2 days of departmental training,
  • Green scrubs are provided by the hospital,
  • Department culture follows WakeWings protocols,
  • Free parking is available for staff,
  • Manager approval required for requested time off,
