As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will remain visible, interact professionally with visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do :

  • Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter, adapting to various working environments and conditions.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity within the location.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding incidents, observations, and / or issues encountered during patrols.
  • Maintain awareness of the unique requirements and protocols associated with defense and aerospace environments while performing assigned duties.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
  • A valid firearms permit is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
