Banner Health is seeking a Geriatric Hospitalist to join their esteemed team at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. The ideal candidate will be a BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician with a Geriatric Fellowship, providing care in a top-ranking hospital. This position offers a competitive salary, production incentives, and opportunities for teaching and academic appointments with the University of Arizona College of Medicine.

Banner Health is seeking a Geriatric Hospitalist to join our Banner Desert Medical Center Team in Mesa, AZ. A Top 5 Large Health System and one of the country's premier non-profit health care networks is expanding and seeks a BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician with a Geriatric Fellowship. Banner Health is recognized for its leadership and dedication to the communities we serve.

Opportunity Details:

7 on/7off scheduling

182-12 hour shifts per year

BC/BE Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with Geriatric Medicine Fellowship

Optional teaching opportunity and academic appointment with the University of Arizona College of Medicine

Banner Health and the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix are pleased to announce the expansion of Graduate Medical Education programs, with a total of 229 additional residency and fellowship positions. The initiative will expand with three programs in 2025 and build 16 additional programs by 2027. The program will be part of an established and successful sponsoring institution and Department of Internal Medicine-The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix.

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ- serves as a tertiary referral center for the East Valley of metropolitan Phoenix and treats the highest levels of acuity in the East Valley. The campus has 669-bed private rooms, with 248 beds dedicated to children (Cardon Childrens Medical Center). It is ranked as one of the top five hospitals in Phoenix, and recognized for eight high-performing specialties, according to U.S. News Best Regional Hospitals report. Located in Mesa, Arizona, in the heart of the East Valley of metropolitan Phoenix.
