Our client is in need of additional FP Hospitalist candidates! looking to add 2 more providers to the pool for ongoing coverage. Call on weekends (7 : 30a Fri - 7 : 30a Mon)Weekdays are 7 : 30a - 7 : 30aReason for need : Backfill coverageInpatient admitting, rounding, and backing up the NP in the EDAPPs provide coverage 24 / 7Patient population : adult, pediatric, medicine, traumaSolo coverage - only Hospitalist during coverage1-2 admissions per day; 0 ICU; 5-6 inpatientsWill respond to house codesWill cover Patient Care Unit on the 2nd floor of the hospitalWill be responsible for supervising other healthcare providersEMR : EpicTrauma level 4Required procedures : Non-Invasive Vent Management (bipap / cpap), Intubation (ETT / INT), Chest Tube insertion, Central Line, PICC Line, Newborn Resuscitation, General Inpatient pediatrics, Non-displaced fractures, suturing of minor lacerations, evaluation, and management of acute volume / BP issues, EKG interpretation 90-day credentialing timeline, but able to grant temp privileges in 2 weeks, if needed
