Were expanding our presence and are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to establish and lead our new Sioux Falls, SD office. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a region, build a local team, and shape the future of our operations in South Dakota.

What Youll Do

• Launch and lead our Sioux Falls office, serving as the local point of contact and operations leader.
• Manage and deliver civil infrastructure projects, primarily in wastewater treatment, conveyance, and utility infrastructure.
• Oversee design-build projects from concept through construction.
• Guide and perform technical civil design, with a secondary focus on structural elements.
• Build and lead a high-performing local engineering team.
• Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, agencies, and local partners.
• Contribute to business development, proposals, and client acquisition.
• Navigate local permitting, regulations, and design standards.

What You Bring

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in South Dakota, or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering:
  • Emphasis on wastewater infrastructure and utilities.
  • Experience with civil site development.
  • Background in structural design (preferred, but secondary).
• Experience with design-build project delivery.
• Leadership experienceproject or office-level.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Sioux Falls market and regional development trends.

Nice to Have

• Existing relationships with South Dakota municipalities or utility agencies.
• Experience growing or managing an office or regional team.
• Business development or proposal experience.
