Senior Manager, Network Engineering

To oversee strategic application engineering functions and initiatives, focusing on network systems. The Senior Manager provides leadership and direction through managers and is accountable for the performance and results of related teams and / or functions. Supports executive leadership in defining organizational goals and strategic plans and translates strategic vision into policies and operational plans for a broad functional area.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, implement, and troubleshoot the organization's computer networks.
• Configure and maintain network hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance
• Ensure network security and integrity through proactive monitoring and comprehensive security measures
• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement timely solutions
• Leads a function that includes multiple related operational activities led by subordinate managers
• Makes recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology
• Oversees operational activities for a broad functional area and contributes to strategic planning
• Applies industry expertise and awareness to drive financial and operational performance within a division
• Develops business plans that impact departmental priorities
