Logistics Administrative Solutions (LAS)
Logistics Administrative Solutions offers streamlined solutions in accounting, hiring, payroll, and training, as well as safety guidance and buying consolidation services within the logistics and transportation industry.
We are seeking a Data Analyst who enjoys structured, process-focused work and wants to build their technical skills in SQL, automation, and data operations. This role centers on acquiring data, standardizing it, loading it into internal systems, and refreshing recurring reports. It is not a heavy analytics or data storytelling role. It is an internal-facing position focused on accurate, efficient data movement and process improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of experience who wants hands-on technical growth within a Microsoft-based environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Acquire, prepare, clean, and load data from internal and external sources into LAS systems.
- Maintain and refresh recurring reports to ensure updated and accurate data flows into reporting pipelines.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating sources, reconciling discrepancies, and troubleshooting issues.
- Build basic automations using SQL, Power Automate, or other Microsoft tools to streamline manual processes.
- Support data migrations from homegrown systems into SQL databases or off-the-shelf platforms.
- Assist with API-based data acquisition and system-to-system data integrations.
- Collaborate with internal team members to understand data needs and ensure timely data availability.
- Follow structured processes and documentation to maintain consistent data quality.
- Monitor data pipelines and identify gaps, errors, or inconsistencies requiring correction.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND / COMPETENCIES :
1–3 years of experience in a data analyst, reporting, or data operations role.Proficient in SQL, including writing structured queries, joins, filters, and transformations to extract, clean, and standardize data from multiple sources.Experience using Microsoft tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel, Power Query, and other data processing tools.Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive, structured tasks accurately and consistently.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities.Comfortable navigating ambiguous or evolving business requirements and translating them into clear data tasks.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to validate data, identify inconsistencies, and troubleshoot issues.Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach when working with internal team members.Highly organized with strong time management discipline.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative major (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering)WORKING CONDITIONS :
