Practice Highlights

Inpatient care on a 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM – 7 PM)

Make daily rounds on assigned patients (average 12–15 per physician)

Admit patients and manage rapid responses / codes

Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU setting with 24 / 7 consultation

Conduct patient assessments, histories, physicals, and documentation using Paragon EMR

Participate in a hospitalist team managing 40–50 patients per day collectively

No on-call duties

Work in a non-trauma designated hospital with strong infrastructure

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (must be Board Certified within 2 years; new graduates accepted)

NY medical license or willingness to obtain

Clean malpractice and license history

DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Must be open to full-time, 7 on / 7 off schedule

Comfortable working in an open ICU with intensivist support

Not accepting Locums candidates, Visa candidates, or 1099 candidates

Schedule & Coverage

7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM – 7 PM)

No on-call duties

Team-based management of 40–50 patients per day

Open ICU with intensivist support

Certification Requirements

ACLS, BLS, DEA, PALS, Board Certified / Board Eligible

NY State License required

Must be Board Certified within 2 years of contract start
