Responsibilities :
- Read and verify blueprints, setup sheets, and specifications to determine required materials, tooling, fixtures, and inspection tools.
- Locate appropriate tooling and fixturing, then perform machine setup, including loading fixtures and tooling.
- Download programs and tooling offsets; test the first tool to ensure proper offsets.
- Run parts and inspect them to verify they meet specified tolerances and surface finishes.
- Perform secondary operations as needed, such as grinding, buffing, and deburring.
- Complete machine logs, production logs, and Kanban cards; deliver finished parts to designated areas.
- Tear down setups and return tools and fixtures to their proper locations.
- Conduct light machine maintenance, including checking and refilling oil and coolant.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including end-of-shift cleanup.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Work independently with limited supervision.
- Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- May be required to test new parts or work from revised prints without setup sheets.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Knowledge / Education :
High school graduate or equivalent.Vocational program or CNC-equivalent machining experienceKnowledge of proper use of hand tools.Experience of general shop math, Fanuc controls, and ability to read and follow programs, including feeds, speeds, G codes, and M codes.Skills and Abilities :
Ability to understand and follow written and oral machining procedures.Proficient in using basic measuring instruments, such as calipers, dial bore gauges, and fixed gauges.Capable of reading and following blueprints, drill tap charts (inches), and setup sheets.
