Sr. Linux Engineer

CMK Resources is seeking an experienced  Senior Linux Engineer  to support a cloud-to-cloud migration initiative and provide advanced  RHEL engineering support . This role will work across AWS and Azure environments, driving automation, optimizing infrastructure, and ensuring stable, secure Linux operations.

Responsibilities :

Lead and execute  cloud-to-cloud migration  (AWS, Azure, GCP or hybrid).

Provide senior-level  RHEL engineering and administration  support.

Develop automation solutions using  Ansible Tower, Terraform, and Python .

Manage and optimize CI / CD workflows using  GitHub Actions .

Support Linux system performance, patching, hardening, and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams to ensure smooth migrations and operational readiness.

Document processes, designs, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills :

5+ years Linux engineering experience (RHEL focused).

Strong hands-on experience with  Azure and AWS .

Proficiency with  Ansible Tower  and  Terraform  for automation and IaC.

Solid scripting / programming skills with  Python .

Experience with  GitHub Actions  (pipelines, automation, workflows).

Strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, networking, and system optimization skills.

Nice to Have :

Experience with  Ubuntu  environments.

Exposure to containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).

Cloud architecture or migration certifications.

Contract Details :

6-month contract, fully remote

High likelihood of extension or conversion to full-time
