We are a bustling trailer dealership with a growing service department. Established in 2009, we are the largest supplier of PJ Trailers and a trusted source for sales, parts, and repairs for most makes and models. Our team takes pride in delivering quality repairs, maintenance, and customizations for customers who depend on their trailers every day.

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Trailer Mechanics to join our service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trailer repair and maintenance, eye for detail, and the ability to work independently as well as with a team. Candidates must supply their own basic tools. Bilingual preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair trailer systems, including brakes (electric and hydraulic), suspension, axles, wiring, lights, and hydraulic lift systems.

Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.

Install accessories (i.e. hitches, tie-down systems, toolboxes, etc.) as well as some truck upfitting (i.e. toolboxes, auxiliary fuel tanks / pumps, truck bed installation, hitch installation, etc.)

Fabricate and weld when necessary

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Accurately document all work performed and parts used

Communicate with service advisors on job status and needs

Requirements

Proven experience as a trailer mechanic, equipment mechanic, or similar role

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, braking systems, and suspension

Welding / fabrication skills (MIG preferred)

Ability to operate shop tools and equipment safely

Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various positions (standing, bending, kneeling)

Valid driver’s license

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Basic tools
