You have:

• A commitment to making Guests feel welcome upon arrival and appreciated when they depart
• The people skills to calmly and professionally communicate with Guests, Team Members, and Vendor Partners
• The determination to become knowledgeable of all Metro Diner has to offer, including menu items, special events, and Metro Diner gear
• The skills to take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
• Poise and grace to handle Guests’ questions and complaints appropriately
• The understanding to prepare and present Guests their check, accept payment, and process credit card or accept cash as applicable

You might also have:

• Experience as a Server in a fast-paced work environment
• Experience in diffusing stressful situations through a calm, thoughtful demeanor
• Ability to work as part of a team and help facilitate the smooth running of the diner as directed by the General Manager or supervisor
• A passion for working alongside other Team Members to provide excellent service while growing the company financially
