AMN is partnering with a school district on the Southeast side of Houston, TX. As a School Psychologist, you will work in one of Texas's most dynamic and rapidly growing school districts. Your role includes assessing students' psychological and academic needs, developing intervention strategies, and collaborating with educators, parents, and students to promote educational success. You will work 37.5 hours per week in a supportive and collaborative school environment, focusing on a wide range of student caseloads and addressing various mental health and learning issues.

Required Qualifications

Psychologist, School

Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology

State Certification / Licensure as a School Psychologist for Texas

Experience working in a School Setting

Preferred Qualifications

Strong Knowledge of Child Development, Learning Theories, and Behavioral Interventions

Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills

Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members

Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings

Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
