This role plays a key part in ensuring the effective design, functionality, and support of systems that directly impact community services across the state. Key Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert on systems supporting state-administered social service programs, including SNAP, TANF, Child Support, and Child Welfare. Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and program staff to gather and analyze requirements for system enhancements and new implementations. Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications. Support system testing, validation, and implementation to ensure solutions meet program needs. Provide guidance and expertise during system emergencies and on-call support situations. Document processes, workflows, and system configurations to ensure long-term maintainability and compliance. Required Qualifications Minimum of 20 years of professional experience, with demonstrated expertise in systems supporting SNAP, TANF, Child Support, and Child Welfare. Strong knowledge of state government operations, preferably within the Mississippi government. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
