A company is looking for a Claims Assistant to support the claims staff in the administration of workers' compensation claims and related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Set up new claims and process mail, files, and notes in the claims system
Process payments and form letters, state forms, and reports as needed
Assist claims examiners with telephone calls from providers, claimants, and customers
Required Qualifications
High school diploma; college degree preferred
Six months of service-oriented office experience preferred
PC literate, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong organizational skills
