You will spend your time performing:

As the Enterprise Architecture Manager you will manage a team of 4 direct reports (Solution Architects & Application Architects). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving interesting problems, has passion for evolving technology, has experience with services that moves data across the Enterprise, has experience with data quality, data modeling, and has performed software engineering work in the past.

The Enterprise Architecture Manager will begin with three identified initiatives: 1) Evolve the culture from tactical to strategic helping the current architecture team to be architects and not developers. Guide the team’s career growth. 2) Evaluate microservices to determine if they should pivot. 3) Help create a, On-demand Commercial Ratings Program that will require improving their current ratings capabilities to increase system speed from 35 seconds down to milliseconds, significantly improving latency, scalability, & bit level performance. The On-demand Commercial Ratings Program will be the first such system in the commercial insurance industry.

This position will also create enterprise architecture governance structure, create the technical capability for the entire organization, create world-class composable architectures, analyze industry & market trends to determine potential impact on the company, be obsessive about maintaining useful reference architecture standards, and be responsible for coaching of staff and participate in the selection of talent.

You will join a complete Cloud data integration environment. The Business Intelligence team leverages Informatica Intelligent Cloud Suite (IICS). This company has a collaborative partnership with Informatica and communicate directly with Informatica’s product development team. The Application Development team is invested in Microsoft technology with .Net, Azure, and microservices. The company also leverages SalesForce, Guidewire, & Outsystems. They also support an AS/400.
