We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior LabVIEW Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team, responsible for tackling a variety of projects. As we take on more customers and projects than ever before, we are hiring at every level and need an experienced leader to captain the team. Your main responsibility will be designing and developing custom systems for various applications within multiple industries. You will play a critical role in developing LabVIEW code and configuring hardware to bring Automated Test and Embedded Control systems to completion. You will also be responsible for LabVIEW code review, de-bugging, and overall system support.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in STEM-related field or equivalent experience3+ years of Test System or Embedded System developmentLabVIEW certification (CLD, CLED, CLA) or equivalent experience with LabVIEWPreferred QualificationsThe following items are highly preferred but will be learned in training.
Experience with products from National Instruments (NI), Keyence, SICK, Basler, Agilent, Tektronix / Keithley, and similar technology companiesSignificant knowledge in NI products such as LabVIEW, TestStand, PXI, Modular Instruments, and RIOExperience with engineering services, custom engineering, products design, Automated Test Equipment, Quality control, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Test, or Embedded Control systemsUnderstanding of industrial and lab equipment including oscilloscopes, DMM, power supply, signal generators, motors, pumps, etc.Experience in industries such as medical device, life sciences, manufacturing, consumer electronicsIndustry standards such as ISO-9000, ISO-13485, automotive standards, FDA standards, Six-Sigma, etc.ResponsibilitiesOversee project development as the Project ManagerTake the lead on challenging code development and debuggingArchitect and design projects from scratch in LabVIEWInterface with all forms of NI hardware and third-party hardware using multiple technologiesIndependently solve challenges such as interfacing with new equipment, computations or algorithms, and demanding customer applicationsDevelop code tools designed for simplicity and reuseServe as a mentor to other engineers by providing training, debug assistance, and demonstrating xklufbp best practices of engineering, design, and industryVisit customer sites and host on-site customer visits to build relationships and gain a deeper understanding of project requirementsOther RequirementsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to work in-office full-time in San Diego, CAMust be able to lift 20-50 pound objects 5-10 times per dayProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerSalary RangeExact compensation may vary based on relevant skills, experience, and competencies.
Base salary : $85,000 / yr - $140,000 / yr
