Job Description

SBH Health System seeks a Nurse Educator to join the nursing team. The successful candidate will plan, coordinate, provide and evaluate learning experiences for nursing staff to promote/maintain their competency.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Master’s preferred
• Active New York State Registered Nurse license
• Minimum (3) years nursing experience with demonstrated competence in nursing practice and leadership skills
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Nurse Educator, teaching adults in classroom and clinical area with demonstrated competence in program planning and principle and practice of adult learning.
