Quality Inspector / Welding Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-reliant Certified Welding Inspector to perform comprehensive inspections of welds in both shop and field settings. The ideal candidate will ensure all welding activities adhere to applicable codes, standards, and procedures, while identifying and reporting any discrepancies to the Quality Assurance Manager. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with deep expertise in welding processes, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to work independently in dynamic environments.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Responsible for adhering to all Company and Project safety programs, policies, and procedures as well as all
• Federal, State, and local safety codes and regulations.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Verify welding procedures, qualifications, and documentation.
• Identify and report welding defects and non-conformances.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and generate detailed reports.
• Collaborate with welders, supervisors, and QA personnel to resolve quality issues.
• Administer welder performance qualification tests.
• Maintain welder continuity logs.
• Travel to field sites as needed for on-site inspections.
