Job Summary
Driver jobs vary by client needs and type of freight or passengers. Some positions require manual labor such as loading and unloading , while others may be "no touch" driving only. Schedules, routes, and pay will depend on the client and the type of position.
Key Responsibilities (May Include)
- Safely operate Class A, B, C, or D commercial vehicles
- Transport goods, materials, or passengers to designated locations
- Load / unload freight (some positions may be no touch)
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips
- Follow all DOT, state, and company safety regulations
- Complete required logs and documentation accurately
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or the public
