Ability to obtain DOT card. 3+ years of relevant experience – strong mechanical background, safety orientated, willingness to learn, self-driven, positive, team player. Ability to regularly bend, stoop, move from ground level to higher levels, raise / lift from ground level and lift up to 50 lbs., manually transport a load up to 75 lbs., apply up to 100-ft / lbs. Effective written and verbal communication interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative team environment that includes. Depending on work situations, travel will be required. Medical, vision and dental insurance 401k match 10 company paid holidays 2 weeks PTO with 5 sick days Overtime paid 1.5x hourly wage after 8 hours Monday – Friday, Saturday overtime paid 1.5x hourly wage, Sundays overtime paid 2x hourly wage, company recognized holidays worked paid at 3x hourly wage. Annual $125 boot allowance available 90 days after employment.

Georgia Western is searching for a Field Service Pipeline Technician (Oil and Gas) to facilitate both current and future projects within the oil / gas industry.
Responsibilities include :
- Follow safe work practices at the customer sites and in the shop.
- Wear appropriate PPE for task being performed.
- Ability to travel to various customer sites, often including overnight stay depending on job scope – a daily per diem is provided along with $5 / hr field pay on all jobs that require overnight stay.
- Perform preventive pipeline and compressor station maintenance along with other tasks assigned.
- Interface with customers, contractors, sales staff, account managers, and operations as needed.
- Operation and maintenance of various types of equipment including, but not limited to, crane truck, hytorc, flange spreaders, dial calipers, feeler gauges, torque wrench, hand and pneumatic tools etc.
- Perform pipeline related maintenance including, but not limited to, actuator installation, stainless steel tube bending, setting mechanical stops, greasing valves, installing valves, troubleshooting, taking measurements etc.
- Operate, service, wash, and ensure proper maintenance and security for Company vehicle and other property for which responsible.
This position may be exposed to a variety of conditions including weather, confined spaces, and loud noises.
