Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A physical therapist is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Lexington, NC. This contract position covers the current school year and is ideal for professionals experienced in pediatric physical therapy within educational environments. The role focuses on delivering tailored therapeutic interventions to help students improve mobility, participate fully in classroom activities, and achieve their individual educational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assess and evaluate students physical therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare providers to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Participate in school meetings as necessary to ensure coordinated care

Desired Qualifications :

  • Valid license to practice physical therapy
  • Experience working in school-based physical therapy or pediatric healthcare settings
  • Strong understanding of educational impact on therapy goals
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent munication and documentation skills

    • Location : Lexington, North Carolina

    Duration : Current school year (CSY) contract
