• Urgent care coverage supporting a high-volume outpatient center
• Consistent weekly scheduling with solo-provider autonomy
• Well-supported environment with MA and office staff onsite
Assignment Details
• Coverage Type: No Call
• Practice Setting: Outpatient urgent care
• Schedule: Dates listed in comments; ongoing needs
• Patients Per Shift: Average 20
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: Center manager, MA, PSA, offsite supervising physician (for APPs)
• Provider must work independently as the sole clinician
• Experience Requirement: Minimum 12 months in urgent care or acute care
Clinical Details
• Patient Population: All ages 6 months+
• Case Types: Adult and pediatric urgent care
• Required Procedures: I&D, lration repair, ear irrigation, minor procedures
• Provider must evaluate and treat all cases independently
• Must document all visits in Epic
• HCO relies on agency credentialing; Medicare enrollment processed by HCO
• Clinical interview and EMR onboarding required prior to first shift
Requirements
• Board Certification required (PA NCCPA or NP Boards)
• Active North Carolina license only
• BLS required
• Minimum 12 months experience; no new grads
• Ability to independently manage full-scope urgent care
• Availability must be listed in bid presentation
• Multiple locations within 65-mile radius may be assigned
Compensation
• Rates: 85/hour
• Malpractice: Provided
• Travel: Reimbursed (mileage only)
