Repairs Project Manager

Position Overview

The Repairs Project Manager oversees residential and commercial restoration repair projects from start to finish. This role ensures all reconstruction and repair work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to company's quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with homeowners, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver a “Fresh Start” experience after water, fire, mold, or other property damage events.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage repair/reconstruction projects following mitigation services (drywall, flooring, roofing, carpentry, paint, framing, etc.)

• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters.

• Prepare and review estimates, scopes of work, and change orders.

• Schedule, coordinate, and oversee subcontractors and internal crews.

• Conduct site visits to verify progress, ensure jobsite safety, and maintain quality control.

• Track project budgets, timelines, materials, and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, 911 Restoration standards, and insurance carrier requirements.

• Communicate proactively regarding project updates, delays, or issues.

• Close out projects with final inspections and customer satisfaction checks.

• Maintain detailed records in company software (Xactimate, PSA, or similar platforms).

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, construction, or repair project management (water/fire/mold experience preferred).

• Strong understanding of residential building practices and trades.

• Experience working with insurance carriers and using Xactimate strongly preferred.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Ability to work in the field as needed, including jobsite walkthroughs.
