Caregiver – Intermediate Care Facility (ICF)

Must be Local to Thousand Oaks, CA.

We’re looking for compassionate and reliable caregivers to join our team and support individuals in an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) setting. If you love making a difference and want a role where every day is rewarding, this is for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Provide daily support with personal care needs like bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.

• Encourage independence and skill development based on each individual's care plan (ISP).

• Support and engage individuals in activities such as art, gardening, sensory play, and basic computer tasks.

• Promote dignity and respect in all interactions.

• Document daily activities, behaviors, and care accurately and on time.

• Support communication and mobility goals, including use of devices and adaptive equipment.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment by following infection control and safety protocols.

• Participate in outings, medical appointments, and community events with the individuals.

• Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff and follow care team guidance.

• Communicate and work professionally and cooperatively with others.

• Maintain confidentiality.

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; required.

• Valid and current California Drivers License required.

• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.

• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing needs.

• Good communication and observation skills.

• Caregiving experience preferred.

• Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals; preferred.

• Current First Aid or CPR Certificate.

• Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.

• Successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, health screening, TB screening and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
